Right after Christmas Delaney and I both came down with a nasty cold, Laney woke up one morning and since I wasn't quite ready to join the land of the living I let her play in our bed for awhile. Somewhere in my morning haze I realized she was playing with a can of Vicks vapor rub but I was quickly overwhelmed by the sleepies and forgot about it. When I regained consciousness I smelled the unmistakable smell. Turns out my kid had been taking large handfuls out of the jar and applying it to her hair! Uh-oh, was all she said. It took 3 days and about 10 washes to get her hair back to normal.

That's so funny Delaney was doing that. THe trouble they can get into.
I LOVE Vicks--have you heard of putting it on your feet at night when you have a bad cough? It works for me every time. It's much better applied there than in the hair. My niece covered her hair in desitin a while back, and dish soap worked the best to get it all out. Don't you love kids?
