Movie Date

A few weeks ago Laney and I went to see a movie, just the two of us. I was excited to take her to the movies because I LOVE going to the movies and Ryan doesn’t- so I’m always looking for a date! We went to see this-

and had a good time. It might have been a little to much for a 3 year old who doesn’t understand that everything will end “happily ever after” but she’s talked about it a lot since so I think it turned out ok. I think I found my new movie date!

9 Months

good4

I know I’m a little late on this one but Colton went to the Dr for his 9 month well baby and here are his stats: 20 lbs and 26 inches long. Hard to believe it but he is now in the 45% for weight and height despite the thunder thighs!

Here’s a little of what he’s been up  to lately

* Crawling everywhere, including upstairs (thanks a lot Grammie)

* Waving

*Cruising and today I caught his standing on his own!

*Not sleeping :(

Catching snowflakes…

Oh Christmas Tree

I have a confession- I love our Christmas tree! It’s not fancy or colored coordinated but I love it just the same. Each ornament has a story and a memory attached to it and I love taking each one out and telling Laney “what’s dis one?”.  Growing up, each year my Godparents gave me an ornament, and every since we’ve gotten ornaments to mark the occasions in our life..

A new baby, or a much loved pet

Each one is special, and I so enjoy looking at each one and thinking about where we’ve been!
